Mark your calendars and clean out those filing cabinets! Our bi-annual shred event is coming up on Wednesday, May 1 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Chamber parking lot. Securely dispose of old documents with member Assured Document Destruction. This event is open to the public.

Assured will be bringing its mobile shredding truck to the Chamber parking lot. Your documents will be shredded on-site for your peace of mind.

Pricing:
Chamber members: $5 for the first banker's box of paper, $8 per each additional box.
Non-members: $10 per box.

Wickenburg voters will hear from the town council and mayoral candidates at the upcoming Wickenburg Town Council Candidates Forum. Presented by the Wickenburg Chamber and Wickenburg Business and Professional Women, the forum is being split into a two-night format to accommodate more time for our candidates.

Join us on Tuesday, May 14 at 5:30 p.m. for the town council candidates' forum, and join us again on Thursday, May 16 at 5:30 p.m. for the mayoral candidates' forum. Both events will be held at the Wickenburg Community Center (160 N. Valentine Street). This forum is free and open to the public.

Each candidate will have the opportunity to answer questions provided to them before the forum. If time allows, candidates will also have the chance to address audience questions submitted before intermission.

We’ll cover birding basics, from tools and equipment to bird identification tips and strategies. Trails are rated easy, although thick sand is possible in some stretches. Don’t worry if you don’t have binoculars; the Ranger will have some to borrow. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended. Restrooms are available near the parking area. NO pets, please.

MEETING LOCATION: Visitor Center
Limit 12 participants. To register, please call the Visitor Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 9 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Visitor Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 5/21/24.

This free family oriented event is held for Kids Club attendees or newbies to celebrate a day of water activities in a desert ranch environment.  A fun overnight or just come for the day.  Dry camping available for the overnight, with showers and restrooms close by.  Come and enjoy a campfire with marshmallows, the open nighttime sky with stars, and maybe sing a few old favorites!
