This program is geared towards all physical abilities and ages. We have benches and folding chairs available to set around the garden.

Join Ranger Eric for an after-hours trail walk to look for and learn about the nocturnal critters of the Preserve! Wildlife seen on past walks have included bats, ringtails, foxes, skunks, javelinas, deer, owls, scorpions, insects, and other cool creepy crawlies! Please bring your own flashlights and blacklights if you have them, but some will be available to borrow. Please carry your own water and bring an extra jacket or sweater for warmth (it regularly gets 5-10 degrees colder at night along the river than what the weather forecasts show for nearby Wickenburg). Trails are rated as easy and are mostly flat, but there may be some uneven or sandy surfaces. We will hike about 1-1.5 miles.

To register, please call the Preserve Visitor Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 9.
