Join Ranger Steve for a small stargazing program at Hassayampa River Preserve on 11/05/2022 from 6-8pm. We'll have a telescope set up to view celestial objects such as the moon, Jupiter, Saturn, and perhaps even a few star clusters or nebulae!
Ranger Steve will also be answering all your astronomy-related questions, pointing out constellations with a laser, and discussing current events in astronomy. The program will be ongoing the entire two hours and will not be following a strict timeline.

For this program, please park in the overflow parking area. The telescope will be set up near the main parking lot. Dress for the season and bring a light jacket or sweatshirt in case the temperature dips down after sunset.

At Fluchella, you will be able to get the latest vaccine, which is recommended for this season’s predicted influenza variant.
Vaccinations will be provided at no cost to you, while supplies last.

Come to the Nature Center and meet Ranger Kevin from 2pm to 4 pm. The theme is venomous vs. non-venomous animals, so bring your curiosity and your questions! A table full of interesting objects will be on hand for you to inspect.
No registration required, just drop on in!
Limit 20 participants. A fun evening hike for all ages and skill levels.
Join Ranger Kevin as we stroll the trails of the Hassayampa River Preserve while looking, listening (and possibly even smelling!) for animals. Some of the creatures we might encounter include: skunks, raccoons, ringtails, owls, insects and more! Wear closed-toe shoes and bring water. Participants are also encouraged to bring a black light and/or flashlight; a small number of these may be available to borrow. Meet at the Nature Center; bathrooms are available near the parking lot.

Once a month, the Chamber and a member business partner for an evening of networking. Join Chamber staff and the Humane Society of Wickenburg for a paw-esome mixer on Wednesday, November 16 at Flying E Ranch!
