Most recently seen on America’s Got Talent, Storm Large has been making a name for herself over the past three decades from tours with Pink Martini to concerts in Carnegie Hall. It is with her loyal and fearless band, Le Bonheur, where she shines with a fierce emotional commitment to every song. A vivacious stage presence, the singer mesmerizes with a compelling mix of smoldering seduction and edgy humor. Storm showcases her powerhouse vocals on a blend of American songbook classics, Broadway tear-jerkers, rock goddess anthems and original compositions.

During a 21-year career with The Statler Brothers, Jimmy Fortune wrote three of the band’s No. 1 hits, “Elizabeth,” “My Only Love” and “Too Much On My Heart.” Jimmy and The Statler Brothers were inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame in October 2007 and the Country Music Association Hall of Fame in June 2008. When The Statler Brothers retired, Jimmy seized the opportunity to launch a solo career to share new music with his fans.

The singer-songwriter now performs an acoustic show with his band blending Statler classics, gospel and original country songs. Showcasing his recognizable tenor voice, Fortune’s latest release God & Country is his eighth solo album.

Due to rising travel concerns, Marta Pereira da Costa has canceled her international tour. If you have purchased tickets to this concert, please contact the Webb Center Box Office at your earliest convenience: 928-684-6624

Playing with intense precision, emotion and grace, Marta Pereira da Costa is the world’s first and only female professional Portuguese guitar player. Specializing in fado, the soulful music from her native country, Marta and her trio will entertain audiences with an international blend of melodies and rhythms.

Marta started playing the piano at the age of 4 and later learned the classical guitar. When she turned 18, she began to study the Portuguese guitar earnestly. In 2012, Marta recorded on the “Fados de Amor” album, which was the first album where the Portuguese Guitar is solely played by a woman. It was awarded “Best Fado Album of 2012” by the prestigious Amália Rodrigues Foundation. It was at that time that Marta decided to abandon her work as a civil engineer in order to pursue her professional career in music.

Fans spanning the globe agree that when Marta performs, she delivers what cannot be recorded: the heart of a woman who made the guitar an extension of her alma (soul).

A richly chiming Lincoln Center debut by Fado guitarist Marta Pereira da Costa. She’s funny, and kind of badass: she knew she owned the crowd, and she didn’t try to hide it. In the world of fado, she’s a rarity, as a woman instrumentalist, composer and bandleader – New York Music Daily, USA (2019)

Pink Martini’s 12-piece “little orchestra” brilliantly combines elements of classical, jazz, world music and timeless pop into a multi-lingual repertoire. Effortlessly transitioning from a samba parade in Rio to a 1930s French cabaret, the Portland, Oregon based band draws inspiration from music found all over the world. Co-writer of many of Pink Martini’s most beloved songs, vocalist China Forbes has mesmerized audiences since 1995 with her glamourous stage presence and dazzling voice.
