Along the way we will discuss how to identify birds by sight and sound, and about the behavioral and ecological traits that make them unique. Some binoculars are available to borrow. 1/17/2022 | Interested in Arizona history and the great outdoors? Our Desert Adventure Tours start Monday, January 17! Join historian Joe Stevens as we explore ghost towns around the Wickenburg area. The tour will begin at the Museum at 9 a.m. for a brief orientation. Stops on the tour will include Octave, Stanton, the Old Congress town site and cemetery, and the Garcia Cemetery. The tour will conclude in Wickenburg by 3:00 p.m. Participants will self-drive and pay for their own lunch at Nichol’s West in Congress. The cost of the tour is $35 for Museum Members and $55 for non-Members. Proceeds benefit the Museum’s education programming.
