Did you know that over 300 species of birds have been found at the Hassayampa River Preserve? Enjoy an easy-paced walk with seasoned birder and bird bander Anne Leight to spot and identify the many breeding resident birds of the Preserve. Some binoculars are available to borrow. To register, please call the Preserve visitor center at 928-684-2772. Space is limited.

  • Programs are all ages, but might not be suitable for toddlers or young children. Most guided programs involve at least 0.5-1 mile of walking on mostly flat, but sometimes uneven ground.
