About Wickenburg Community Hospital-Physical Therapy Department
Wickenburg Community Hospital is a nonprofit organization. Established in 1926 and like the tenacious Western spirit that built Wickenburg, our rural Community Hospital and Clinics are committed to quality health and wellness services where the patient, family, and community come first.
Physical therapists (PTs) are movement experts who optimize the quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education. They teach patients how to prevent or manage their condition so that they will achieve long-term health benefits. PTs examine each individual and develop a plan, using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. In addition, PTs work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility before it occurs by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs for healthier and more active lifestyles. The PT's at Wickenburg Community Hospital Rehabilitation Center is dedicated to providing rehabilitation needs associated with most movement-related conditions.
