Event Description
Wickenburg Conservation Foundation's Clean and Beautiful will be holding their January volunteer cleanup of Box Canyon and surrounding area.

Details
This January's cleanup is being sponsored by Dark Skies and Las Damas Women's Riding Group. The goal is to keep our public lands free of litter and safe for those who recreate around Wickenburg. The staging area will be at the BLM parking lot above the Hassayampa River, at the end of Rincon Road in Wickenburg. GPS coordinates are 34.03432 N, -112.74001 W. You will cross the dry river bed twice and the staging area is 1/4 miles after second crossing.
Arrive at 9 AM SHARP or before to sign in and get instructions. Bring off road vehicles and if you don't have one, we will put you in with someone who does or send you out to areas that are roads. Wear clothes appropriate to the weather. We supply water, buckets, grab sticks, bags, vests, pastries and coffee!
You will be assigned an area to clean based on your vehicle and will be escorted to those areas.
Return to the BLM parking lot when your done and sign out. We don't want to leave you out there!!
