Event Description
Enhance your clinical skills with a deeper understanding of
hospice care – learn the benefits and misconceptions. We’ll also
show how improv techniques can build trust and connection
between caregivers and loved ones, plus demonstrate best
practices for back safety when moving patients.

misconceptions of hospice care–and teach ways to have meaningful
communication with patients and families in need of this holistic support.
Creative Connections: Empowering Dementia Care Partners with
Improv Techniques (10–10:55 a.m.)

Professional Improvisational Actors
Seasoned improv actors will help you discover innovative techniques to elevate
your caregiving experience. Through dynamic exercises and insightful guidance,
you will gain practical tools to enrich communication with your patients and
families, deepen your bond and reduce stress.
