This three-time Grammy Award nominated female a cappella quartet entertains with inspirational songs of the season influenced by their foundations in world music, gospel, and folk meshed with elements of hip-hop, jazz and Rhythm & Blues. Founded in 1973, SWEET HONEY IN THE ROCK ® embodies the soulful essence of African-American culture through their mesmerizing blend of vocal harmonies and song; fusing the possibilities of the human voice with a theatrical flair. Accompanied by bassist Romeir Mendez, the ensemble delivers a profound and uplifting concert experience that offers messages of optimism, faith, and hope in addition to celebrating the power of music to unite and inspire.This concert will have sign language interpretation by SWEET HONEY IN THE ROCK ® member Barbara Hunt.
