Enjoy a roughly 2-mile hike on the Palm Lake, Mesquite Meander, Lions, and Willow Walkway trails with Ranger Kevin as we look for all kinds of wildlife along the way. Some animals we may see include mule deer, javelina, squirrels, rabbits, various species of birds and perhaps a reptile or two. Trail is rated easy, with very little loose rock, uneven terrain and elevation change, though some places may have thick sand. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are also highly recommended. Restrooms are available near the Visitor Center. No pets, please.
