Event Description
Maria, a Grief Recovery Coach, will be offering an in-person workshop to help you move through the grief process of losing a pet. This intimate group will meet for 5 consecutive weeks at K9 Konnection Dog Shelter.
As both an energy worker & former Hospice nurse, Maria has witnessed how grief can either swallow us up or teach us some of life's most profound & potent lessons. Our connections with our animal companions are meant to teach us so much about life. Maria will share some helpful & empowering tools to assist each participant in acknowledging, honoring, and moving through the losses they.have experienced. While she is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist (through Grief Recovery Institute) this workshop will not cover that particular evidence-based process, however it will incorporate key points & activities from it. She will also channel Spirit for guidance on what everyone can use in their own grieving journeys. Grieving and healing are not linear processes. By approaching these unique experiences with compassion and grace, we're able to gain the wisdom and medicine that comes from the pain we are also here to feel. Healing takes HEART-a warrior;s heart!
